Anyone have they're seat come apart?

Ok, latest problem, all the staples on the leading edge of my seat (08 XB12-R) came loose. Showed it to the dealer, they ordered me a new one instantly. The new seat has 2 rows of staples as opposed to 1 row on the original. I was told the new seat has an updated part No. so I can't be the only one. Check out your seats, hopefully Buell will replace it if you have a prob. Wayne

my guess is if its wrapped like your first one, it'll probably do it again. I just removed the loosened staples and ride.

Mine is a 09 but looks good so far.How many miles do you have?

i have a 2008 12r and my seat did the exact same thing. you just took it in and the dealer took care of it? i may have to head in and check that out

Ecan, like I said, I showed it to Noel at Jacox H-D in Mississauga Ontario and she covered it under warrenty, no questions asked. Wayne

I've had mine on my 07 Bolt come loose 3 times this last seat hasn't yet so... all replaced under warranty
