so i just rode a firebolt the other day for the frist time, the 1200cc and i love it...i have never wanted anything else so bad...just one problem...it cost to much...i was wondering do you guys now were i can find these bikes cheap and what should i look for as far as wear and tear? also i was wondering those buell make a lowering kit, im like 5'3 and i could barley touch the ground. thanks

I always tell people, "Ride one, you'll love it. Wait never mind, ride it only if you have the money because if you don't have it and you ride one, you're just torturing yourself. You'll have to have it."

You can put xb12Scg suspension on a firebolt to lower it.

As far as getting them cheap, Craigslist and cash in hand. Low ball big time with that cash in their face.

Look for oil leaks and mileage. If you ask them what gas mileage they get on it, that will give you a good idea how hard they ride it. They should get around 45 for normal riding, 30 for riding it like hell, and 60 for babying it.

Yeah I got my license in MD all because I saw a Buell at an HD dealer. The Hero buell and Artic White XB12R Firebolt. Dropped too much for my 05 but I still love it!

What everyone else said. Got my license in MD just b/c I wanted to ride one. Got mine in southern MD for $4000 cash with 11K miles on it. Perfect condition.

ebay has nice 2008's going for 5 grand and less. Pay 400 for shipping and your done. Hell put it on a credit card if you dont have the cash. :D:D
