Hey Guys,

I modified my XB9R with 2 HID's.
Now I would like to have my lights off at the start, except for the parking light, and be able to put the both on with the high beam switch.

Do you think that it's possible to split the +12v line going to the high beam and use it to power the low beam too or would it be too much for the electrical wiring. I do not wish to alter the original wiring too much.

I don't use the High beam and altered it to be a low beam.

If anyone has an idea, let me know ;)

Towards the bottom of this thread, there's a description of someone using a timer delay relay: Firebolt HID (http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Firebolt-XB12-XB9/Firebolt-12000K-Xenons-installed).

Yeah I know, I already replied in that thread but I'm not interested anymore in using the delay timer.
I'd prefer to be able to ride only with the parking lights and when I want I'd switch the high beam switch to activate both lights.
