oil change question

Primary oil need to be changed at the same time I do engine, or can I wait? I don't have a new gasket for cover.... do I need new one can I use old till I get new one? [confused]

I changed my primary and the gasket did not tear or anything, so I didn't change it out.

Mac did you have any issue?

Nope, no issues in the last 1500 miles. Will change it again in the spring. Wiped it with a clean towel, then put some of the new oil on it when I put it on.
