I live a few minutes from awesome riding in western MD. Hancock is a little town about 90 miles west of Baltimore on Rt. 70. From there, any direction is great. Is there any :D body in this area riding on weekends or wednesdays?

Apex - I live in Martinsburg. You are right...lots of good riding in West Virginia/Western Maryland. I've only begun to explore. I've had my Buell for a year.

Hey, now there's two. We need a couple more and we have a small Buell group. Martinsburg, Hancock, Berkeley Springs, all good for headquarters!

Yeah, and if you ever want to come over for some really flat and straight roads, I'm over here on the Eastern Shore LOL. Sad, but true. I have serious road envy.

I know there must be some more of us around this area. I've seen several Buells out and about...even had one pull up alongside me at the King Street exit from I-81. Anyone else from the Panhandle area or maybe Hagerstown or Winchester?

Oh good. Then you'll be familiar with the area and can come back next month to help me move down the street :p

So we should keep this thread alive or start a MD riders thread and all get together for a couple rides in the spring.

I hope next year brings better riding weather, this summer sucked. It rained almost every time I wanted to go riding.

There is a group of Buellers based around Delaware/SE PA/MD. Never ridden w/ them, though.

Yeah but they stay riding up there, the closest I've seen them come is Newark, Delaware. Except for bike week. I'm not going to ride 2+ hours just to meet someone.
