Are there rear shock upgrades available for the 1125 bikes? Like Ohlins or Penske?

Also, what about upgrading fork internals, I'm sure this can be done with Ohlins internals since they are Showas.

I am sure there are upgrades but unless you plan to race the bike seriously there really is no need to upgrade them, they are amazing as is, if you do want to up grade them you could always upgrade to the Buell Racing setup of 43mm Showa front forks and Showa rear shock with remote reservoir.

Believe it or not the race front forks are smaller as the Stocks are 47mm and race are 43mm. Not sure why but probably for a good reason.

This would be my best advice.

I'm aware of the pros and cons of street vs race and just based on my experience with both Ohlins and Showa, I prefer the Ohlins for adjustability and plushness of ride. If anything some internal work on the forks would likely suit me just fine for the type of riding I do. Thanks

I appreciate both LeFox and afinley responding with the two possibilities. Products I have never heard of yet, both sound and look quality and worth checking out.

almost all here on our side use ast, quality stuff really and the guy who produces them races with buell (in header of the site with old xb12, now with 1125r)

I checked with the Bitubo shock and its strickly a race application built to your specs. I think the AST is the best option, thanks.

Would you happen to know the price range of this shock?
