I am going to do a DIY muffler mod on my 07 Uly, there are enough threads with pic's to help me out and I have just found a chap who wil weld it back together for me.

BUT! all the treads show a muffler with a different exit pipe to my 07. Mine curls round a bit more and has heat sheld on it.

Has any one got pictures of the inside of this muffler?

Or at least an ides of what I will find.

Here are a couple off another thread, inside view of a Drummer, and one of how to modify a stock muffler.

These are both great examples, but they have the exit pipe that my bike dose not have. These ones are a short SS pipe that comes straight out of the can, but mine is a longer steal pipe that curves back with a SS heat guard on it.

If I can work out how to add pictures I will put one on.

Thanks for the help!

If I;m not mistaking, the insides and the basic body are the same. The uly just has a different exit.I'm not 100% on that, but I am about 99% sure.:p

Ah! that's just what I wanted to hear.

Thanks Tuneport67ss! [up]

I second that Tuneport. In conversations with Randy (Hawk Performance) he told me that the rear portion (rear cap & exit pipe)is different, but made no mention of differences on the internals.
