Please take a look at this e-bay post. I am interested in buying these for my bike. The price is right. I dont need the best just basic lifts. I will use them on other bike makes as well. Let me know what you think good or bad.

That style front lift can work for a buell but isnt the safest. The front forks are different length, so it is best to use a front lift that connects just under the lower triple tree clamp. It will also allow you to move the wheel back and forthe while working on the bike unlike that style you are looking at.

Like this but you have to use a rear stand when using this one otherwise the bike will just fall over since it only has 2 balancing points not a stable 3. I personally have the Pitbull stands and love them, they are pricey but work great for me.

So it would be better if I by a universal rear and a front like yours due to the uneven forks.

Cool!

Can you put spools on a firebolt? If so what size spools?

Ok, this is the swingarm motorcycle lift i ended up getting. It was very affordable. I just hope it does the trick. I will get a front lift like Xtremelows later when I need it.

I didnt think I could put spools on my buell. Guess I was wrong. If i would have know that, I would have bought a diff lift. To late now, I used pay pal. I hope the one I bought will work.

+1 on the TRex. Great customer service and great product.

Some people seem to have troubles with the front fork lift rubbing on the front fender, but my Ss has no such issues.

The SS is nice for the front lift but if you have a scg or xb9sl, you might have to remove the front fender to use it. I tried using it on my buddies xb9sl and there were some major clearance issues.

I had to cut and hack and reweld to get the my front stand to fit my low. I works now with the fender on it, but it was major surgery to get it to.

I use a pit bull "new front" stand on my SL. at full lock the fender does not rub much and with a micro fiber cloth in there I haven't seen any scratches yet.

I have an old home made rear stand from back in the old days when we didn't have rear spools, that fits under the swingarm on my GPz-750. You can certainly use a stand like this with a length of steel bar through the rear axle. Works great! Wayne

[mad]I guess I will wait till I get it and see if it works. I know it wont be as stable as a spool lift. Worse case I migfht be able to put dif extentions on it to turn it into a spool lift, or an axil rod lift.

I just kept checking Craigslist for used ones. Found a set of factory Suzuki stands for $40 and were easily adapted to my Blast.

they went together really easy, the back comes too close to the swing arm so I tucked a couple rags in there for anti-scratch. I'm still waiting for my new sliders/spools from dark horse...

the fronts came with both the fork lift pads and the triple tree lift... I tried out the fork lift just to see... worked fine actually even with the tubes being different lengths on the bike. sat a little crooked but very stable.

How did that power.freaks rear stand work out? Were those attachments suitable for the XB swingarm?

I'm considering getting one. Thanks
