Anyone out there done a mod on their airbox inner cover??? Saw a post on twin sport that a guy had swiss cheesed his using a unibit http://www.sporttwin.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=5309.html

Reason i ask is i am just shy of completing the full mod of air filter, exhaust and just about to add race chip...now i have to reset the TPS once the chip is in but if i mod the inner airbox will i have to do another reset or is the mod not worth doing to the airbox???????
Cheers
Justin

That mod that they are showing in that link is more work than its worth. Why not just do the whole open air box mod? Seems to be lots more work just to get the same result. Only thing is the spot to still mount the interactive exhaust servo, but if you are creative it can be done to a full open airbox mod without all the work of turning a stock box into swiss cheese.
