Hi,
I bought a Buell City X about 2 months ago and am wondering if anyone has/had the same issue I am having. If I pull the throttle back hard under 4000 rpm the bike will choke on itself. I talked with the dealer and they are basically saying thats the way it is. I REALLY dont like it and Im sure there is a way to solve it. Some people are telling me my bike might not be mapped properly - some are saying they run lean because of the EPA and I need a Techlusion Fuel Injection Control Module. Thanks in advance for any input.

Try having the dealer re-flash you ECM and reset the TPS. If it doesnt cure it, look into doing a breather re-route. Then maybe look at doing a techlusion next. One step at a time.

Could that be an issue for a brand new bike?

Yes, depending on who set it up, they could have not done the proper PDI (pre delivery inspection)
