What is the bike, year, make, model?

As long as it is not a Low or a CG model the fork slider number is

J8143.3A8 - Right fork slider

Bad news is, it is backordered with no posted date for release. That could mean months till it would come in. Only 2 dealers in the country show that they have them in stock, and you can bet they wont give them up at all. I'm sure they are getting calls from all over the U.S. daily wanting them when they are on that kind of backorder. Its worth a shot at least. Thats about all I can tell you at this point.

I got my fork sliders from Darkhourse moto. They look good and I got them in about a week.

Yeah, at this point you are probably better off finding them somewhere other than the dealer. I talked to Buell direct and they told me that they will advise us when they are released. Production of standard forks where stopped for the production of the 1125R forks. They will be tooling the factory back to produce the regular style soon once they fill all the 1125R production run.

After almost six weeks waiting for my left fork slider, my dealer calls me up and says it's done. Get this, they replaced both forks, top to bottom (over $670) at no charge. I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth or anything, but what gives?[confused]

I guess good things come to those that wait... They really must feel guilty to deprive you for the past 6 weeks. It is hard to believe, but that is Awesome.

I think there is a new generation of employees moving into the HD dealers. Maybe they are more intune to the influx of new riders. I'm glad to hear you have you bike back. I would not have lasted 6 weeks.
