Damn you Rob, I am just a few clicks away. I am going to just turn off my computer and go to bed before I spend any money.

I think I just set my self up for another $1100 on more susp. parts for my truck so another $38 would be nothing but I already have a set... back and forth, back and forth.

I'll have to go back in and get some saddle bags too.

I picked up gloves two weeks ago and they were nice enough to still do the 29.99 even with them marked at 74.99 in store. In the past I was less than impressed with grand rapids Harley but they have truly stepped up in the last few months. The buell support is now top end.

Some of the bike prices are still outragious tho. My girl wanted a blast and they quoted her 5,600 before TTL!!

cool, thanks. I didn't really need new gloves, and need to save money...but I ordered a pair. I'm going to need them eventually, $30 is a steal.

For those that have them, how are the sizing on them? Are they cut similar to any other glove brand? I always have trouble with the right size. Some I need 2xl, some just xl

I had some Cortech gloves last and wore a medium (a little tight but they broke in nice) I bought a large in these and they fit perfect. They would have been too small if I had got a medium. I guess I have average sized hands. 5'10" 175lbs.

I have not ridden with them yet but I doubt they will stretch bigger very much. Dunno if this helps, Goodluck.

I usually wear a L but needed an XL on these. They don't stretch out far. But I have long fingers and the ring and pinkey fit very tight in the L. So guys with long fingers should buy 1 size up IMO

For those of you in the area.
I bought a few things if you call the net number on that page pay with a cc and pick up in the store.(no shipping)
They also been very good about matching the net or there ebay prices in the store.
I wear xxl or xxxl gloves i have long skin fingers the xxl fit me great.
I agree Gr Buell service has never been fantastic but they are really stepping up there game.
this summer they started carrying stuff i bought my tank bag there. to bad HD had to be stupid and kill the brand.
there 1125r prices are not that great when my check gets here i going to see if they will deal or i am going to il. or oh. to get one for 6495

I picked up a pair for the $30...and I love them. They fit better than any glove I've ever worn. The great part, is the velcro closure actually works well. There's 3 velcro adjustments.

I'm tempted to order more and have gloves for life.

Anyone on here have experience with A* or Icon gloves? I wear a XL in both of those. I'm leaning toward a XL in these Buell gloves. Anyone done the same?

Trill
01-25-2010, 10:59 PM
I tried on some ICON gloves and the Large was too tight for me, but the Large Speed and Strength fit perfectly. my buell gloves should be at my house when I get home from work.. I ordered a pair of large and 1 pair of XL so I will let you know how they compare to Speed and strength.. See if that helps at all.

Trill
01-25-2010, 11:41 PM
Alright! Got my gloves today!! WOW these are a lot nicer than I expected.

First off I was wrong in the post before this.. I bought a pair of XL speed and strength gloves and the ICON felt too small in comparison..

BUT Both pairs of the buell gloves fit me well.

On the XL my pinky doesn't totally fill the glove but fits great. The Large was a perfect fit, a bit snug but felt as a perfect fitting glove should. I will be using the size Large first and may sell the XL or hold onto them in case I need a replacement.

I'm still in shock that I got 2 pair of these gloves for LESS than my 1 pair of skimpy speed and strength gloves. I don't even care that they have blue on them lol.

Awesome gloves!!!

Hey RT, thanks. I missed them the first time around, but I got em this time. only thing wrong is they were delivered to my house this afternoon but I left to go out of town this morning[mad] guess I'll check em out next weekend when I get home, hopefully my other stuff will be there by then too; ordered shirts & stuff from Barnett Harley's ebay store, not bad, long sleeve Buell shirts for $9.99?

I got the adventure pants for 62 BUCKS!!!!!

The gloves are an unbelievable deal for that price. They feel very solid and well made. The dual closure system on the wrist is a nice touch. Well armoured and padded.

Mine fit great. Might have been able to squeeze into a L, but the XL feels nice.

Just so there's no question about them, THESE are the $29.99 gloves. Ordered mine past Saturday, got them yesterday. Can't believe the quality these gloves are built too - one of the best buys I've made since my Buell. The build & feel actually justify the original price tag of $150.

You can still get the gloves for 30!!! I was in there today and there were still some in motorclothes for 75 but one of the ladies that always sets me up with the best deals said that she could get them to go with the online sale price. Not many left out there...

Call Debbie and ask her about it, she will even get them shipped out to you if needed.

I lost one of my spring/summer gloves and need to get a new set. How's everyone liking these gloves? I was going to go with a shorty, but after thinking about what happens if I crash - a longer gloves makes much more sense.

I'm trying to spend less than $100. I can get the Alpinestar SP2 for under that at my friends shop, but then I remembered these. I found these online for $70 + shipping at an online harley shop. (I wish it was red to match the bike, but whatever)

What are people opinions of these? Better than A*? I have a winter set of gloves - looking for something Spring, Summer and some Fall riding.

BlackandChrome
03-20-2010, 04:20 AM
Any more reviews on these gloves?

I saw thinslate in one post - are these cold weather gloves?

At $70, how would you compare these to a <$100 set of major brand gloves:
alpinestars sp-2
a* sp-8
joe rocket gpx 2.0
icon merc long

firebolt020283

good deal! rah7x7

I had no idea you were on here.

I'm going to be putting my XL gloves up for sale, they don't fit me right (my fingers are too long for the L and the knuckle armor isn't in the right place on the XL) and gauntlets aren't comfy anyway. so I'm going to sell then so I can buy some shorties.
