Hyperpro stabilizer fitment

Can anyone tell me how the hyperpro steering stabilizer is suppose to fit up to my '05 xb12r? I have the right side air scoop so I can't install it like a couple pictures I have found on here show them. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
