coreing stock exhaust

I just bought a 2003 xb9s and need more sound, performance is fine and I for one like the stock look of the can. on previous bikes I have had I just removed part of what was inside the pipe, has anyone done this to a xb9 or does anyone know what the inside of the can looks like?[confused]

I do i did the cut and core.. go to google and google buell muffler you will find a video of how to do it

did you notice much differance in power or have you had any problems?

yes i did my bike would ping a little so i switched back to my race muffler I will admit the cored out muffler sounded sweet at idle and under a load
