My Bike sounds like a bag of old nails at low revs: What is all that noise? Is it the sliper clutch causing all that noise and what exactly is a sliper clutch anyway?

Slipper clutch allows the clutch to slip persay when you downshift so boiling the throttle to match engine/transmission revs is such a problem

A slipper clutch is basically a clutch that doesn't grab very tight so the discs slip instead of jerking the crank and other components

Are you using Full Sythetic in your Primary?

I believe it is vacuum assisted - so I guess the greater vacuum created when the throttle is closed is used to take some of the tension out of the clutch springs allowing the clutch to slip if the speed differences between the drive and driven plates are too great or too much torque. Was this the type of thing fitted to the later TL1000s “Widow makers” To stop the “born again bikers" killing themselves locking up the back wheel when entering bends?

"Are you using Full Sythetic in your Primary?"

The bike has only done 200 miles... so what ever it came with.
