Well, after much debate I chose the ASV C/5 "unbreakable" shortys. Anyone have these or know how they stack up against the CRGs? I got a good deal so I am happy with my decision, opinions...?

Just put mine on a few days ago. It is so so so cool! I love the 3 finger shorty. Im holding on while shifting. It completely optimised and adjusts to the shortist distance it could possably be. Sweet!

Found these on ebay, they pretty nice and can be short or long. May try them if I replace my stock levers, but I can't find much as far as reviews from anyone who has used them.

Shocksoket, who did you buy the asv's from? Right from the Co. or a distributer? How quick was your order delivered? Been thinking about those for my XB. Was it an easy swap?

Those look pretty nice. I kinda hate eBay sellers who use false names to attract you to their products though-meaning his using "Pazzo" in his auction title. Anyway, if you get them, please post up a report!

To be honest, Pazzos, CRG, ASV, Rizoma, any CNC'd lever is going to be good quality - it's a matter of cosmetic preference since once adjusted to your liking, it won't need to be moved.

snosnake, i bought than a set of asv's from here (www.motomummy.com), i think it was free shipping and i had them in a week. i doont have them installed yet(as it is 25 degrees here, and my bike is ripped apart for paint) but i am very happy with the way they look and they feel very solid.

I would have to say out of all the choices the ASV's look the best.

Baal - I agree, borderline bait and switch...

Like Sno, I also think the ASV's (shorty's) are the best I've seen in person, but damn they are expensive!

Well I ordered them but not yet recieved them. I got them from sportbiketrackgear (who orders directly from ASV in CA)for 200 delivered. Bad news is...they are on back order and can take up to 4 weeks, oh well, I cant ride right now anyway.

You can find the C5's on ebay for $200 and the F3's for $145

Just type Buell ASV into the search [up]

that's funny, the XB section of badweb also has a thread about those levers....started by me! :)

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/609554.html?1291820869

I did buy those levers on November 29th, but the I ordered two sets. One gold set for a friend with a yellow X1, and then one blue set for my 9R. I emailed the guy before purchasing about combining the shipping, to save on costs. and then i emailed him again once i had purchased them saying what specific levers i needed with color and size. On top of that email i also included the same information in my pay pal information in the notes section like his directions instruct.

Well once the levers arrived they were both in one package like i asked. Yet he charged me twice for shipping, so for two sets of these $24 levers i got charged like $80 some dollars.

Upon opening the package i came to realize he messed up the order, and sent me two sets of gold shorty's for the X1. I emailed him about the problem, and he said he would correct it (as he should) and send me the blue pair as soon as possible. after a few days he sent me the tracking number for my replacement blue levers. I did not check the tracking number at first when he got it to me, and 2.5 weeks went by, so i decided i should check it....The post office's website said that the package had already arrived at my house...???... well apparently he sent me the tracking number of the first package of levers he sent me (the two gold pair). I emailed him back and asked why i would need a tracking number for the wrong package that i had already recieved....? He said something along the lines of "oh i didnt realize you wanted the tracking number for the blue pair"....

well once he sent me the correct tracking number for the blue pair I went and checked it. The USPS said they had no record of my shipment existing. I then emailed the seller again, and he gave me some BS on how its still in hong kong due to weather, and if i cant track it within the next three days to let him know. Of course it still didn't show up with the tracking number online over the next three days. So another email to the seller, and he said he would send out another pair. Well I got the tracking number for the (hopefully final) pair of levers and it said they were accepted at the post office in hong kong like 2 days ago (i haven't checked it since)

Overall i'm not impressed with the sellers business (i wont be dealing with him again)

My buddy did get the Gold shorties put on his X1, and they look good, and the quality doesn't seem to bad. I'll let you guys know once i get my blue ones (hopefully) how they fit on our XB's there is a guy in the BWB thread that bought the same levers as I did, and he said they fit up well on his ULY and that he didn't have to grind them down any like people do with the GSXR levers (hopefully he is right!!!

I just cut my levers off and polished them. If its not broke...Mod it!!! I also sanded and polished a couple other things while I was at it.
