Dude, you've got a messed up mix of hobbies. Motorcycles and tattoos I can see, maybe even video games, but flower pots???? :D

Yes, it does appear that way. I make my living from the flower pots, games are just for fun, the tattoo site was made because my cousin is a sick tattoo artist here in Indianapolis, and I ride a Buell so this is more of a hobby site. [smirk]

Sayjackb: My wife has taken an interest in bonsai. Any tips on where or how I can get started on a Christmas gift for her?

BuellXB - Regardless of content, you've got a talent for "designing" websites dude. Nice work. [up]

it's hard to say, you could try to put together a Bonsai Kit sort of thing.
Say:
a dish ("pot")
a tree, something that looks healthy, bright green and strong looking, and something that will fit in your dish.
Maybe a couple of tools. Like some pruning shears (Bonsai Shears are sharper then regular shears), thin gauge copper wire, what ever you can find.
Books are always helpful, one with lots of pics and demonstrations.

Just some ideas, i take no responsibility if she hates it, ha ha.

Another thing to think about this spring. Take her out on a short hike through your local wood, or forest like area, and let her get a couple of natural stocks to play with. That way if she is successful with her bonsai she will have both an awesome tree, and some awesome memories.

If all else fails, find your local nursery and tell them your plight, they will help you out.

That game site failed a long time ago. Notice this thread was started at the beginning of 2007. I just edited the thread seeing that it popped back up again.
