Can anyone tell me how to reset the computer on a 99 x1.

look up info on the ecmspy the x1 is injected so , you can buy the ecm cable online and ebay , got mine on ebay & it came with cd with lots of stock and race ecm maps for x1 and xb up 2007.or you can make one too. there is lots of post here about ecm and ecm spy just search it here for more info, click the the link & scroll down to ecmSpy/ tuning mods lots of info there. or ask someone like xopti, or lefox has lots links to this topoc & more in his profile links.
