I have heard that the new 08 XB's, have self adjusting TPS', is this true and is it something I can add to my 07 XB?

Yes it is a self adjusting TPS, but no it doesnt retrofit due to the fact that they also changed the heads this year. I'm sure you could do it some way, but it would take a lot more than changing just the throttle body

Well lets team up and figure it out because on long trips I always have TPS probs, specially through altitude changes!

How much of an effect is there on altitude with the TPS??
When are the times, apart from componant changes ie. Chip change, you need to do a TPS reset?
I just recently changed my chip and bought the Diagnostics tool and it works pretty good, but for others who don't have the resources to do this themselves; if this process is a frequent one it could get expensive sending to a dealer each time.
Just curious.

Well for me it has seemed to be every 1500 miles or so of pretty consistent riding. This isn't BAD most of the time but that one time in Van. that was pretty bad because my idle was all wacked out, so bad that I had to ride the clutch at stop lights to keep the idle down. I think thats a pretty extreme case because it hasen't happened since.
I just wish I could find some diagnosic software for Mac computers, then I could do it myself!
