Great site, enjoy the posts..

Just picked up my new 2009 1125R from Seminole HD in Central Florida. So far I really am digging it.
Got a few questions (sure there will be more later):

Has anyone found a decent friction lock/cruise control for the throttle?

If any Florida riders on- where is a good, hidden location for the sunpass mini?

BTW.. there was one 1125R left on Monday when I bought mine.

The only issue with these are you have to keep your palm on the thing. Had one of those a few years ago and they don't do anything really. Here are a few pics: I cut off the little foot in the above picture since we can't use it and it limits placement, then I drilled a set screw into the throttle housing and it was done. Oh and if you get one of these get the larger diameter one since there will be easier to get right without having to shave some ID out of it:

so looking into the vista cruiser that looks simplistic but functional

It works fantastic, just set my speed flick the lever down and I can rest my right hand and arm as long as I need. As you can see in the first picture when you roll back your hand grip there is the ridge on the handle bar near the throttle housing. That's where I used the dremmel to cut a bevel in the plastic of the Vista Cruise. Otherwise it hits the ridge and won't lock down correctly. Of course you could always grind down the ridge so whatever is easier for the individual.

Thanks for the suggestions. Leaning more to a friction lock than a cramp buster style.

From my original Post- Sunpass location.

Did some research and found out these new Florida Sunpass Mini's DO NOT work when affixed to plexiglass or fiberglass.

Still interested to know where Buell owners are mounting there state's toll road transponders.

Just bought an older vista cruise for honda on ebay. I think it will work since it is for 7/8" bars and will need modified anyway. I looked at the newer ones and don't like the "Universal" style.

I actually bought 2 so if anyone interested in buying one PM me for price.

Thanks for all the suggestions and input.

Just bought an older vista cruise...

Finally got around to modifying and installing my NOS Vista cruise. Wow sure is nice to be able to flick it on and flex my hand.

Thanks Alfatango1 for the good pics +1

i added the vista to my 11125r i am very pleased with it.
I completely removed the grip (wasn't even glued)
ground the ridge off the tube.
Made a flat bracket from the lower housing bolt to hold it from moving.
they work well and are just 25 bucks :)
