what is it a 07 or older bike? Or is it a 08 or newer one?

The older bikes it should work just fine. 08s I have no idea what you have to do.

What model year is your race map?

the race map is for an 05 xb12. the tps reset worked fine and so did turning off the exhaust valve.

01g_wrx_02 - How do you turn off the Exhaust Valve. I feel like I should be wiping drool off my face right now. I'm so confused with this stuff.

Have you double checked to make sure the configs are the same? Read your eeprom, and see what config your ECM is using. Then open the race map you want to flash to the bike, and see if it's the same.

Worse comes to worse, open the race map, copy over the fuel/timing maps, then manually input them into the eeprom you read from your bike and burn changes. It's an extra step, I know, but it'll at least get you to where you want to be.

Midnight82- try going to VIEW>PROFESSIONAL then Diagnostics tab then you see Active muffler control, click the off box then burn.

Configs? how do i tell if there the same?

and manually put them in to eeprom?that would take forever :( . the eeprom loads but it doesnt burn on to the ecm.

if i go to the eeprom tab it says....Idk if it means anything??[confused]
stock race
firmware BUEIB310 BUEGB231

There you go, that's why it's not working. Your race eeprom is a different ECM calibration from your stock eeprom. You need to find a BUE1B310 race map.

Oh, and like I said, your other option is just to copy and paste fuel/timing maps into your stock eeprom. Just remember to save your stock eeprom!

So if I understand right I can just replace the stock fuel/ timing map front and rear with the race ones? Do I just leave the stock EEPROM alone? Or do I have to copy all the race EEPROM to the stock one?
