View Full Version : Mirror Block off Plates

So i put a handle bar mirror on my 07 Buell xb12r and have been looking around forever for block off plates to cover the old mirror's holes and i actully just used my mirror and mesurued the spacing and found some from a Kawasaki but they are around $74 thats more then i paid for the mirror!!!! :o anyone know where to find ones for a buell, or cheeper ones??? Thanks in Advance!!

I'll look around 4ya,I bought a pair of those off someone on this forum.
They're cut out into Pegasus shape.

or you could just use 10 mm black bolts...

yeah on the bolts, i found some vinyl tape that matched used that and one pan head screw. those plates are dupid, perfect for guys with mo money than sense. sorry if I offended anyone

www.darkhorsemoto.com sells a set as well. They are a plain plate instead of the pegasus.

Both are known to be great quality.

I took my mirrors off and I had extreme just fill them in with I believe is epoxy. I dont plan on putting mirrors back on so it works of me plus it was cheap.

Thanks a lot everyone, i actually ran into a guy i used to work with and he is going to make some for me, prob going to have him machine them into the Pegasus shape that looks awesome, ill post up some pictures when i get them done!

Just for those that may view this thread in the future, Americansportbike has the block off plates for around $60.00. Still expensive, but they are available.

I bought a set of block offs for an R1 during the d2moto 40 off sale. The mounting holes are the same.

I took a belt sander and ground out the R1 engraving. I had them powdercoated black.

They are a little bigger than the bulge of the front fairing around the mirrors; but I like keeping $55 in my pocket
