I have a whirring noise coming from the front end. I thought at first it was the front brake rubbing, it is speed dependent and is not affected by applying the brake or pulling in the clutch.... any ideas? [confused]

How many miles do you have on the bike? I would say wheel bearings.

maybe it is a bad bearing?[confused]

This is a bearing, change them both before the distance bush gets damaged

The bike only has 600 miles on it. I've had it up on the paddock stand and can feel no roughness in the bearing, turns real smooth and no noise. The bike is going in for its first service soon I’ll see what they have to say! - Certainly don't want that to seize up on me at 100+mph.

Defiantly have that checked, I have seen Bearings from the Manufacturer Dry, no lube in a seal bearing, They will feel fine and as soon as a load is put on it, It will Fail.
