Recently I had my 01 Buell Blast seize. Still waiting on the pending results from my mechanic but does anyone know where i could get cheap parts for it? Any reccomendations or advice for me. Yes it does suck. Yes im having it rebuilt (depending on how many parts I need) and yes it is an Engine seize (tranny still rolls)

What's a rebuild cost on a single cylinder? Can't be much can it?

it may cost about the same to just buy a low milage used blast engine to just replace it,when you add parts and labor together... search ebay and the internet for some. here's one from pinwall cycle they have lots of buell used parts $650 plus shipping (might cost a little more but it could get you riding faster than waiting for your mechanic to rebuild yours)(me i would rebuild it myself or replace it and then rebuild the old one and sell it to help pay for it all

I dont see a replacement engine or rebuild being that expensive at all. I mean there are used engines all over for around 500. A rebuild has to more expensive in labor alone. Labor will probably cost more than parts unless you get the hook up.

Yep, I was thinking just swap the engine from another Blast. There's got to be some crashed ones laying around
