I remember way back in this forum there were some replacement cowls from germany that looked a lot better. Has anyone done this mod and where did the overflow bottle go? I recall that they were expensive.

It's actually .de not .com, http://www.eskalation.de/teile.php a german site.

I dunno, I love the original cowls.

Thats the ****, i remember seeing them over a year ago on this site. I also remember a 700 euro price tag or something. The only thing that concerns me is where they relocate the rad overflow bottle. I mean the other thing, the price is not nice!!!! So no one on this site has done the changeover?

i talked to my mechanic today and told him about the eskalation radiator cover and he told me that a kid around here wrecked his 1125 and just took off the cowls all together and his motor overheated and he destroyed it. the stock cowls actually force air into radiator he said at higher speeds the little fans cant pull in air when ur at hiway speeds fyi

I like the chin guard/Belly pan though.. looks tough. May sit a tad low but..!!

would it only work with the stock exhaust?

So no one has installed either the trojans or the eskalations on their rides? Must be a reason for that.Obviously they over heat. The eskalation site claims they reduce the temps but i cant see that unless they use different rads.

i think the reason no one has done it is because of the price.

i think the reason no one has done it is because of the price.

Combine that with having to have stuff shipped from overseas....it sucks!

Why couldn't you take a stock set and water jet them to any pattern you like? Add some of that tuner screen stuff on the back side and have yourself something different.

Start with a set off of E-bay so you don't mess up your stock set. :D

I'm glad the pods are there. When I slid m bike, the pods kept the frame, pegs and most of the swingarm off the ground. Got the bike back up, cleaned out the grass that got caught inside and rode away. Maybe the outcome would have been different on pavement. Still, she looks like an angry bug coming at you.:)
