Start by downloading the manual if you don't own one already

Service Manual Download (http://www.gigaboogie.com/buell/manuals/Buell-Firebolt-Service-Manual.pdf)

Then get the bike level, using stands or wheel chock

use a jack or something to support the weight of the muffler while you remove all the straps to keep the weight from stressing the header.

You are supposed to remove the idler pulley to get to the bolts of the 2 rear straps but you can manage with an extension and maybe a universal joint.

Once all straps are removed and the torca clamp on the header is loose just remove item holding the weight and wiggle it off the header.

If you have to remove the front muffler mount from the engine make sure not to loose the 2 bushing that are in the recesses in the engine... I know from experience :)

Then go about installing the new unit.

hope this helps
