View Full Version : HELP! Mirrors off turn signals on?

Im taking the stock mirrors with the integrated turn signals off the bike. I bought some bar end mirrors. Im looking for some led turn signals I can mount in the front of my bike. I found some led turn signals on ebay and some on d2moto.com. However my question is will it mess anything up. For example blinking fast or not at all? What do you guys and girls use?
Also any tips for removing the mirrors and relocating the turn signals? Looking for some ideas.

EP36 blinker relay. I put on bar end blinkers.

I dont know anything electical how does it work.

You already have a blinker relay on the bike, but when you put LEDs in, they will blink fast. A EP36 relay from napa will replace your stock relay to slow the flash rate

I put the integrated turn/tail on my bike and LED turn signals in the front. I had to put load equalizers on just to make it work right. Do you think that the relay will work if I take these crappy equalizers off?

doesn't your cr already have led turn signals in the front? (the signals in the mirrors are led i think)

crxtasy: the relay will work way better than the equalizers. they have them (the relays) @ americansportbike.com also[up]

you should have no prob. with fast flashing if the signals in the mirrors are already led. why are you lost? you shouldn't need a new flasher if you are replacing them with leds[confused]

Yeah thats right Joe.. only if you are replacing the rear " Globe " indicators do you need to put relays in. The front Mirrors/indicators are already LED's. Check out the other posts on the forum bout mirrors and indicators, some good pics and instructions also. The bike is so much better without the deer antlers..!!

has anyone used the oberon bar end mirrors with integrated turn signals?

I made a 1/4" x 1"x 3" aluminum extender for my mirrors I can see fine now they look fine no one even notice the extenders.
