VDST Tool

Got one of these just for the TPS reseting and works pretty good and easy to use with my lack of knowledge.
Does anyone know where i can find info on how to really use this tool and how to make changes to improve performance. I know you can screw things up pretty good if you have little knowledge of what you are doing and experience, but is there any books or litriture out there i could read and learn.

As far as I understand from my VDSTS, you can do the TPS and AFV resets, and check and clear codes, but you cannot modify anything else with it.

ECMspy or direct link is it for that I think.
