I was looking at purchasing a stand for my xb12s, I was wondering what everyone else has. I checked ASB and only found one type for the rear wheel. I was curious as to if a center stand is made and will it work with our bikes? I want something to get both tires off the ground for storage this winter. Any ideas, links or what you all do would be great.

Check out some of the stand sets here. The MotoGP ones are pretty cool.

The stand I found was $145, and I believe I would need 2 of them plus an adaptor to do both the front and rear. There has to be a better way, thanks :)

So which stand works with our bikes, and fork/swingarm sliders?

The stands for the swing arm sliders are good but I prefer the stands with the swingarm paddocks so I can use them on other bikes and not have to worry about spools. All personal preference though

I am not understanding. Are you saying that the stand that holds on the swingarm is what you use? I agree if this is the case, I am interested in the front stand. Can we use the head stand? Is one type of front stand better than the other?

Oh the front stand also depends on preference. With the head lift stand you can drop the fork tubes out if you want. the other front stand you cannot since the forks are used as the support. A head lift front stand should work fine. You will just need different size pins. Most head lift stands come with a couple of different sized pins.

I bought a set of T-Rex stands and they work well for my XB12Ss. They can be used used with or without spools. I use the triple stand for the front. Bike is very stable on the stands.

Pins to fit in the triple tree hole. Different bikes have different sizes.
