My employer decided it was best to keep the doors open during this virus thing. So I made some magnesium clamps. Saved 40 grams of weight over the aluminum ones I made last year!

Installed. A little over the top. I like em
Only cool peeps run Renthal bars. Which one is that?
Ultra low
They will oxidize fast.
I have an incredibly stupid amount of raw aluminum on my bike. Carnauba wax is your friend
Anodizing at home is easy:)
Ultra lows are nice, but I prefer the Road Lows for an XB. Ultra lows are my choice for a SV650.
Classy nonetheless.
Can you anodize magnesium? I dont recall ever seeing it done? I remember seeing magnesium bicycle stems from Easton back in the late 90's/early 2000's. They held up okay, but every now and then I would see one that looked like absolute hell. Those were painted/powdercoated, though.
I remember years ago, we were burning the mag lowers on a broken Rock Shox SID fork while camping out at Big Bend park in TX for the Mas O Menos MTB race. That was also my introduction to a sweat lodge. Those bikemojo forum guys were quite the characters and a lot of fun... I also learned the legend of Night Train Express. I think I'm going to be sick.
