New guy here
I`ve recently purchased a 2007 XB12 STT and I'm thinking of buying a spare engine just in case. The one I found is from an XB12 2008 (model not specified), so I was wondering of the parts would fit.
Also, the engine has 43km on it, selling for $600CAN.

No, engines are different from 07 to 08+.
Lots of differences between the motors. Pre-07 used a CPS (cam position sensor) and the 08+ uses a crank position sensor. Cranks between them are completely different.
Spare engine, wow, you have a lot of confidence in your Buell.
