I own a 2007 buell. The idle adjustment screw on mine is on the left front of the bike betweem the air scoop and the front cylinder. It is adjusted buy an allen wrench

What year is your bike? I believe it was the '07 and below that haf problems with the connector #77. The stator plug. Check the connector first, its on the right side of your bike behind your covers....
