Following. I built an LCD gauge setup for my diesel using Arduino and have given some thought to using it on the bike as well. I had seen the previous Arduino project that AZmidget had mentioned...
If he wants $4k for it, or close to that, it needs to be running and good to go. Ask Harley what the cost would be for a new head and labor as a worse case scenario and subtract that from his asking...
If you have tools and a little mechanical ability, I'd attempt it yourself since you'll save a ton of $$ and get to know your bike better. Plenty of "How-To's on here or Youtube. You could also get a...
I once bought a dirt bike with a sheared off plug. All that was remaining of the plug was the threads (no hex or ceramic). I just tapped an easy out into it, backed it out and installed a new one in...
There is a small station by Cavalier. I was in the panhandle of Florida, which was straight and flat too. Maybe eventually I'll get somewhere with fun roads.
What are you going to Cavalier for? I'm PCSing there in about a month (from Florida...) I figured I was going to have the only Buell in the state lol
Tone you could try using a KTM rear master cylinder and KTM 90* brake switch, it hides it a lot better than the stock set up. That's how I did mine....
Modded XB12 and Jardine exhausts are both sold. Just have the stock XB9 exhaust left.
Tone, sorry I haven't posted up that template yet. I finally got mine all together and took all the measurements for you, just haven't had the time to make a pretty picture yet.
Hey everyone, I'm getting rid of some extra exhausts that I have acquired. Prices are plus shipping.
1. Stock XB9 exhaust - has 10K on it. Little bit of rust, some dents, but nothing absurd or...
I'm pretty sure I got it right, just want to make sure before I give you guys bad information. Just sucks waiting for ordered parts to arrive...
Cheap hole saw and a cut off wheel. Once I finish the intake and verify holes are in the right spot, I'll post the template up here for others
That is a Jardine on the left in the top pic and an almost mint condition race pipe on the right. I went with the RA-077V that K&N makes. Same one Nicolas900 used and Sext9 used. TonetheMoan posted...
Just wanted to update everyone on my bike. Been riding it trouble free almost everyday since I got it. I did swap the front tire because it was cupped. Other than that, I hadn't done a lot... until...
Tone, I took some leave and did the hidden caliper/hidden master, built a new intake, and some other stuff. I'm posting pictures here:

Eli helping out with some mods
Thanks Tone. Did you notice any changes (positive or negative) by swapping to the RA-077V? I saw where SEXT9 stated he didn't notice any changes, but I just wanted another opinion before I do the...
I'm working on acquiring the parts necessary to the hidden caliper/master cylinder mod and was just wondering if there was anyone besides ASB to get the bracket from. I searched and found some guys...
Sent you a PM.
I was just going to suggest what Tone said. Swapping a Uly tail with the backrest might be your easiest/least expensive option, allowing you to keep your Buell and still ride together. Or you could...

JB weld should be ok to powdercoat. I'd prebake the tail to let it outgas and see if the JB Weld shrinks or anything. If its still smooth, then PC away. Looks like TPEHAK only used a little bit of JB...
The guy had a link to his facebook and had a video of it running and it sounded good. I'm thinking it was probably the very front part where the lower fairing mounts? Regardless, it would have been...
I just want to start out by saying that I don't usually get on the internet to rant, but this has me so frustrated and I needed to vent to you guys.
Friday night I was on craigslist looking for...
