Great write up. I found out that my horn didn't work when I tried to pass inspection for my registration renewal. There was a loose ground wire exactly where you said it would be. Thanks!

After replacing the fouled plugs with NGK Iridium's the XB ran like a champ!!
It looks similar to the Buell tail bags offered on eBay (new) for about $68. The eBay URL was too long to post here so just do a search for "Buell bag".

I followed your instructions for changing the plugs and while it took more than 15 minutes the first time, it was very easy. Hardest part was getting the damn seat to snap...
Pulled the plugs and, as expected, front cylinder plug was completely fouled. New NGK Iridium's installed but won't be able to test drive until tomorrow evening...
What is the estimated top speed on the XB12Ss?
