Cc83. Jardine tune works great for me, IDS does not send the files. I sent my ecm to them to be flashed. I do have a buell tooth dongle and ecmdroid. AFV wanders around a bit but always in the...
Great pipe, sounds good. I fought the tune and baro sensor for a summer. Took it off and got the IDS jardine tune from Tim. Bike runs great.
I am a fan of the road draft tube. On my Uly, ran it next to the fuel line then down by the fuel vent line. Stay simple my friend.

Time for some details on the heavy roller. That ElCo makes my neck start itchin for a mullet.
Another cool X-1, Bell not Buell. IMO similar combination of engineering and “hold my beer and watch this.”

I like it, goes great with the fender flares. Makes me think of cheap beer, ‘back in black’ on a set of road thunders and my old jean jacket.
I picked up the xb-sg and a baro sensor last spring. Sounds great, imho better than a repacked jardine rt1. Tuning has been an iterative process, he has been very supportive and responsive. He may...
Saw these over on the badweb site. The guy who fabbed them is not active anymore, i have tried a few different ways of contacting him with no success.
Looking for a fabricator that is willing...
An easy way to deal with the airhorn clamp. Slip a pair of small nutdrivers or very small sockets with an extension over the ears and squeeze them together. I could never get the ziptie trick to...
There is a guy selling a set of 06 Uly forks on badweb

Nose of the bolt was a good 1/4” away from shouldering out. I made sure the insert was tight. I ended up hand filing the isolator bushing down until the bolt torqued up without binding the...
Reinstating the front isolator bolt after rolling the motor. Cleaned it up and applied anti-sieze. Adjusted motor height with a jack until it threaded in smoothly. When i get to the final torque...
I have an original 1/2” rear master that I took off my 06 Uly. I switched to an 11mm Brembo. It is missing the pushrod, but the plastic reservoir elbow is good. You can have it for the cost of...
It was kind of like watching your parents fight. Fun for awhile, then you start wondering about future consequences. Who will get the kids? Is an older sibling going to step up and fill void. ...
Awesome trip! Any ideas why the motor let go? Did the fan quit, or 1,000 miles of low octane detonation?
I installed one of these <https://www.ebay.com/itm/200609174686> tri-color LED voltmeter. I was not brave enough to crack open the instrument cluster so it is mounted left side just under the seat...
Left hand drill bits are also an option. If you buy a set, keep them in a pouch no where near the rest of the bits or they will sneak in and burn up.
me every time i check this forum- I see something I wondered how I have managed to live without for so long.
Looking forward to getting my Uly dirty this summer. I picked it up late last fall. Here is my list of dirt ready to do items, in no particular order:
Flush turn signals, prior owner broke off...
Buelligans,
Any ideas on a skid plate that mounts to the existing chin spoiler brackets. I have an aftermarket exhaust an could probably come up with a reasonable rear bracket. DeanAdams design...
Right on. Thanks!!!
All,
The 2006 Uly service manual states: Front Rotor Installation, align reference dot on the front rotor with the valve stem.
When removing and reinstalling a used rotor where is this dot? ...
I picked up a kit from SPHD.
