I have allways been somewhat hard on my vehicles/bikes, without abusing them IMO(up around redline regularly but not constantly.) and they always seem to run stronger than most ppl expect them to.

I'm not sure about the fork tubes from other years/models interchanging or not. But I would personally not replace them with a different part#. Unless of course you want to lower it or something.

I have an 04'12R with stock seats. We are both fairly small ppl, so the seats weren't much trouble for us. The outbound trip seemed better with more upright position and her leanin on me a little....

Looks like there's no clear cut solution, I think we just need some more miles to figure it out. Thanks for the ideas guys!
