I hear the same noise. Especially when hot. Mostly audible during highway speeds and sounds nasty. Almost like a dry bearing. Goes away with throttle release.

mine's been doing it for a a few months. periodically checking fuel pressure, it has been slowly dropping and currently at 30lbs of pressure at crank. Which is not good
