When the front wheel was mounted back on the bike, did you bounce the front suspension several times to align forks before tightening the pinch bolts?

Lol!
They’re pretty solid. And I’m not a little guy by any means, holds me fine. What I really like about them is how small they pack down and come in a carrying bag.
We also carry these camp chairs....

They pack down very small to fit into almost any pannier system...
Wife and I don’t do a lot of moto camping anymore, Airbnb cabins are pretty cheap these days in most of the country. But....I don’t leave for a trip without a Jetboil stove, super light and there is...
Filter is tee’d into the line. Drip leg comes down off tee, the volume of the hose is my catch can. My setup is no different than one with a catch can, just a bolt to plug line. Maybe hard to see in...
I noticed many who did the breather mod added a catch can or some just a radiator drain cock on the “drip leg” beneath the breather filter. I just plugged the drip leg with a 3/8” bolt.
Probably...
Logging chains!! I wish I’d have thought of that. :)
I was definitely huffing and puffing like BuellyBagger, my method mimics his to a tee! Lol.
Did the breather re-route today. Also, since it seemed it was the first time the lower airbox has been off this bike, I cleaned a few things up under there. Rear PCV was leaking at hose and all...
NJ,
Yeah, it’s an 890, but with 400cc more. :)
I used to call them something else before the wife started riding one. :)
Too bad I’m on lockdown for bike purchases. Looks like a deal, maybe.....
I’m pretty close to Hickory......hmmm. Lol.
Nice projects!!
If I’m not working on the new Uly, I’m probably doing something on the wife’s snowmobile (Spyder :)......
Or servicing a company vehicle.
But, of course my favorite “idle...
WTF is the matter with you??
No problem NJ, thank you. Glad you could use it!!
XB forum to the rescue again.
THANKS, John for that tip, you saved me a trip to the dealer for a new switch. Mine quite on me today and a cleaning was all it needed.
You’ll love the Packtalk Bold. Wife and I use those, but didn’t get the JBL’s with ours since they weren’t offered at first. They should rock with the JBL’s! The voice commands are pretty sweet but...
Here’s a pic showing how much lower than the “standard” seat it is...

NJloco,
It’s definitely a low, I currently have three Uly seats in my shop and this one is definitely the shortest. The previous owner was a tall guy as well and he never used it.
Should fit a...
**SOLD**
I have a what appears to be an unused low seat for a Ulysses. If it was used, it must have been only for a few rides. Recently picked up a 2007 Uly and it came with the standard and low...
Congrats! I just brought one home last weekend as well. Fun bike to bring back into spec. I was a little concerned about parts availability at first, but as Cooter says, everything seems relatively...
Hack-tastic!!
Wanted to ask you guys that have more experience with these bikes and the ecm protection needed, if this bracket looks like it’ll work?? I tried to fit the ecm between the battery and fuse box, but...
NJloco,
For what it’s worth, I’m really digging the TKC80’s on this bike. I live in Western NC, so I don’t have any straight roads, and I’m finding the Conti’s handle great on aspault mtn twisties...
This may or may not help another member with K&N air filter that is concerned with dusty conditions off road......
I’m not a fan of K&N, but my bike came with a brand new one and purchasing a new...
I know this post is way old, but any chance you still have the air filter and RSS?
