Does anyone have an ECM tune for a 2008 XB12R with the following specs:

- K&N
- Innovative Wideband O2
- Jardine exhaust

The guy I bought the bike from had decided to start going with some upgrades... cams, big bore kit, lifters, valve springs, pistons, wideband O2, etc. He got about 90% done, or so he said, and didn't...

The bike is an 08, but the .bin file is dated December 2008. This must have been one of the last few before the model year change over...

Exactly... Stumped me too. That's why I found a glimmer of hope that maybe lifters were a bit longer/shorter than stock. That doesn't seem to be the case though. I'm leaning towards an electrical...

So I checked into the lifters just to be sure... The HP+ series from fueling is a stock replacement and does not need any adjustable rods. I guess that rules that one out.

Could my wideband O2 system be causing a no start problem if it's not sending proper readings?

I checked the cps against the owners manual test specs... They seem to check out ok. I also checked the ecm and reflashed a stock program. Still the same outcome.

I broke down and took the bike...

Innovative... There is a large connection to the O2 and then from the gauge, it has a brown wire (analog output) going to the ECM.

I called around to the dealerships... one said it would take an hour to reflash, the other said 30 minutes... WTF? I think they pull these numbers out of there a$$.

That's what I thought... being only a mechanical engineer and not someone with a computer/electrical background, I even could tell that something was effed up for sure.
