how far have you ridden yet? as 3mm is not very much, and i found that as my klms travelled (chain wear) and as my speed increased and the chain slopped and moved, that it touched the tyre.

mate, jsut realise too that if you just change out the shock the rear will lower about 40mm and you cant drop the front forks through that much, so you will affect the geometry and handling.

i had to notch about 5-7mm from the inside rear of my swing arm to allow the chain and sprocket nuts to clear the swingarm on my conversion...
