Just because it's carbed doesn't mean it's going to run like crap. I have both a 08 xb and a 98 s3 and s3 seems to be a smoother running bike and coughs less than the xb. Why not try and figure out...

What about the ign control module. I have a 98 s3 and I had a no spark issue ha power and everything at the coil but the ign control module ended up being the problem. It had a compu fire...

No you don't need to take the pulley off to remove the muffler
And what relevance does that have to my question?
I am leaning more towards the m2 tank since there are more of them out there. Was the m2 and the s3 the same tank? And yes it is going to be carb'd still
Still looking for a tank. will a tank from an S1 or m2 fit? Also how much of a pain would it be to put an s1 tail on the s3 just not a fan of the long tail section
