Go ahead and switch now. Dyno oil is best for break in which happens on the first ride really. I run dyno oil the first service interval then switch to synthetic.
Has reliabilty been a issue on the 06's vs 08+ models? I know of the TPS resets and that it is easier to do on the 08 plus models. Does the TPS really get off that often?
