I have a 2004 XB9 frame with a clean title.
I finally put the lowbeam bulb in with the new head light this weekend. I was very surprised at the light output. After coming from my faded and worn headlights, the difference is dramatic.
The...
I just installed them for my low beam. I had the same problem and cut an X into the rubber boot then pushed the excess rubber inward. So far the output is ok but I can't give a full review yet as my...
The SX also has a rebate too at least here in Miami for 1k. I went to get tires mounted this weekend and wish I didn't.
If you mean right side scoop; for me yes. Installed it a few days ago. Bike runs cooler, I was surprised the first few times the fan didn't turn on when I parked. Styling wise, not as finished...
About 4 miles from me in Miami. Unique SBK, great shop. Same place I go to mount my tires.
04 XB9SL 43k, purchased it with 22k 2 years ago.
Haha, I get asked if im on an electric motorcycle when the fan kicks on.
From watching that video I would take a look at your relays and your start/stop switch.
I changed my TPS last week and it did the same thing.
To remedy it, I reset the AFV value in 5-10% increments. I started with it close to where it was before replacing the TPS and went from there.
How many miles are on your bike?
I thought this was going to be about the traction grips.
Good luck on the search.
Thanks all,
@Thrstrmech The mirrors work well but the quality isn't very high. They need to be modified to fit in the thicker bars. I took out the plastic they come with and used the rubber from...
I've been here for some time and haven't quite introduced myself.
I have a 2004 XB9SL It started life Yellow and 22k Miles its now obviously Grey (possibly moving on to white plastics) and is up...
Sounds a lot like my issue... http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Lightning-XB12S-XB12Ss-CityX-XB12Scg/Clutch-Bearing
Please go with the translogic and do a write-up! I recently cracked my gauge cluster and am considering it as well. Just not too interested in tearing into the wiring harness too deep.

Didn't realize so few 2004 XB9S were made.
I've always wondered what was up with so many stickies.
I like the looks of my stock frame but I would like to ride one of these. Updates: http://j.mp/U2sUwS
I'm in Miami also, around downtown.
Thanks, I just got everything back together. I was going to do a write up of the process but its almost too simple. The hardest part was getting the bearing out of the release plate. I don't have a...
Thats what I was thinking as well about the tool. I'll ask when I go in to get the part tomorrow. Can anyone confirm?
Does anyone know the part number to this bearing for the XB9S (highlighted)? Has anyone performed this task? Any hints, tricks, etc?
After opening up my clutch inspection cover and trying to do a...
I had a similar issue. In my case it was the ECM. I believe it was caused by a cut in the Voltage Reg wiring.
It looks like it was the ECM. I don't have the bike together yet since I pulled the fuel pump.
With the new ECM I received today the pump primes. My only question is, I waited as long as I could...
