The gear ratio from first to second is pretty good. It should yank front off the ground if you clutch real fast from first to second. It's a matter of gearing. Clutch smooth and it won't exist....

Out of curiosity when you put the stock muffler back on did you reconnect the active muffler control servo? Make sure it's functioning correctly? If not did you tie the valve open on the can?
