Before you freak out, I would say fix the one known problem first. When you have the new ETS in you can then begin to see what/if there are other problems. ETS will cause a crap ton of other things...

If the ETS is not working correctly your bike will run like crap. So I imagine that your ETS was still shorting like before and the tube you used insulated it. Least, that's what I'm getting from...

Replace it. That's really the only option. The ETS can cause some weird issues when it goes out and from the looks of yours I would just replace it and not risk even a decent repair of failing.

Well, look at it this way. Drills are a heck of a lot easier to deal with than SFAS Cadre.
