Catch Can is easier than messing with engine and needs less time.
I bought Seafoam fuel additive two bottle for price of one bottle while savings events in Autozone. But I'm not planning to buy this stuff such frequently again because of I see no significant...
Thanks!
It's time to see if using breather reroute will help to keep valves clean and also test some cleaning solutions.
I bought some of fuel system cleaners

Finally I have worked out full tank of gas (about 2.5 gallons). And check this out

One teaspoon of oily water!

It works as it supposed to, most of the oil is collected inside the cavity. If you mean catch can must catch 100% of moisture otherwise it does not actually work, yes, you can assume it does not...
It goes outside just a little bit, some mist condenses on the stainless steel exhaust and sprays surrounding area, but the most oil stays inside the catch can.
You can reduce this effect attaching...
After a couple days of commute there are oily mist and splashes around the filter area. I'm glad this stuff does not go on the valves anymore.

After first day riding there is no moisture inside catch can.
Cut three hoses from transmission hose from breather reroute kit I listed previously. I found the best lengths for them are 129 mm, 280 mm and 301 mm. Connect them to the Y-fitting from the breather...
I have finished breather reroute mod, installed the catch can and test ride the motorcycle. So far it works with no issues.

Here is installation...
I hope all the dirt will have gone after breather reroute mod. Next check at 30000 miles after 10000 miles when I will change spark plugs again.
I can't
I add about 80 ml oil couple times between oil changes to keep it leveled.
Here is the front spark plugs condition

Here is the rear spark plug...
Here is probably another reason for breather reroute mode.
Here is current valves condition after probably 10 Sea Foam cans last year. They look just slightly cleaner than a year ago when I...
The biggest cost is time I spent designing it and assembling. The parts and custom catch can cost me probably about 300$.
Now you can start assembling the catch can.
Attach the big o-ring first

The next step is you have to cut threads in the catch can. I did not specify the NPT threads on the drawings on purpose because of you have to cut the threads and check fitting fitments individually....
Alright, if you want to make you own catch can first of all you need a CAD model. Here is the link to download zip archive with STEP files and drawings I've prepared for catch can parts.
...
Not necessary. People also do breather reroute to not mess with breather hoses each time you need to remove airbox baseplate.
The o-ring removal groove is very small and allocated on the top side of the catch can, so it should be fine. There is also vent hole to atmosphere, so the pressure inside the catch can will be close...
Is will work just fine. But according Drummer website you have to drain that catch can each refuelling.
Thanks! The stainless steel air filter is right on the back side of the catch can for clean and nice look, The catch can has baffle for vent hole to prevent moisture goes out, so no need to route air...

Actually this catch can with went hole on the back side will probably generate significant pressure difference due to venturi effect while cruising over 25 mph. So if negative pressure is something...
It will work the same, I do not think it will work better. If there is no reason to stick PCV hoses in the airbox I prefer to keep it out so I do not need to struggle with those hoses when I need to...
