This is what I did. Ran the hose down the inside of the frame and joined the rear with the front using a tee. Then you dont see it running down the side of the engine. Single line ran down to just...
High sides are tough to protect against. Most of the sliders are just protection for a low side.
Probably worth a closer look at the damage to evaluate the reparability, but it might also be an...
This was done on a multi jet fusion machine with 80 micron layers.
Are you sure PLA is a good choice? Isnt that limited to about 50°C (~120°F) service temperature.
Can you do abs or nylon?
has anyone done this yet? Just printed the blockoff plate out of PA12 nylon. It came out really well.

Do you know where they are sourcing the bearings? If they are using SKF I hope they are going to a local bearing supply company or legitimate supplier. ...

Thats correct. Different manufacturers use a different number scale for heat range. The stock 10r12a is equivalent to the NGK dcpr8e. I recommend adding the ix suffix to get the iridium version.
NGK DCPR8EIX works great (#6546 if you go to an auto parts store and ask about them). A lot of people think they should go 1 step colder and use a 9 heat range, but I dont agree. Stick with stock...
Hey what a blast from the past. Good to see you are still around with the Buell.

you should be happy with them
If you like those give the EBC EPFA454/4HH a try next time. I think they have a lot better initial bite without being too crazy. Either way EBC has been the best with brake dust and noise. ...
Cool video, but the coulomb friction model he uses doesn't apply to friction of material pairs that include rubber. Contact area does affect how much grip you have.
The term beamer originated when BMW was only producing motorcycles. Bimmer came into play later on for car enthusiasts to differentiate themselves from the motorcycle crowd.
Hate to break it to you guys but if we are being pedantic the bikes are beamers, its the cars that are bimmers.
Im not going to check your math but I agree buying new and selling early is usually...
Yea that wouldn't make sense at all. Better go to facebook and ask for opinions there.
