Yeah, pretty much like religion. I can only point to my own experience and one test study of the major brands:

I do wish other manufacturers would get on...
Dibs. PM on it's way.
I'm with squidbuellie - I shoot for 3-5 psi, cold to hot.
Interesting this comes up now.:D
Last week I took a slow right hander at 30 mph with a good dip about 3/4 through. Felt like an old shovelhead with bad swingarm bearings. I check the pressures -...
Never mind.
Nice intro, and a beautiful bike. Welcome aboard.
It looks perfect for that mileage. Unmolested. Good buy for someone...
Flitz should work great. I also use it on the plastics, comes out real nice.
For the price of a quart of oil and a gasket, you'd know immediately if the motor was seized or not.
Stock is 5mm.
If your test light will trigger it, you only need one resistor at the flasher. Well, maybe 2, one for each side.
2 watt, 50 to 100 ohms should do it.
Or rear motor mount?
Read this.
I know of at least two ...
Parked in the rain, sure. On the road, not so much.
Nice clean bike. Good luck with the sale.
Make sure there is free play in the lever.
I don't see them called out separate in my '03 parts book, only the crankcase side. The entire cover with bushings etc is 25782-02A. One source:
Your TPS and AFV look nearly identical to mine with the same setup. If the bike runs fine, it may just be your driving habits. Or you need more air in the tires.:D
Yes. You changed exhaust systems, yes? What's your current reading?
To summarize, your only current problem is ****ty gas mileage? The bike runs great? When you reset the TPS, did you also reset the AFV?
AFAIK, the Lightning set doesn't use a brace, the Firebolt does. Those bags in the ad do not look like Firebolt bags, so I don't know what may be missing. If anything.
The factory speedo tester specs equate frequency to speed. For example, 60mph = 1365, 100kph = 1443. Pulses per second I'm sure are the values. See your service manual.
