go to harbor freight and get a dial indicator and mag base,jack up front of bike,attach to fork tube with indicator riding on rotor, spin wheel and check for runout should be .005 or less

grounds are often more of a problem than anything. even if a connection looks good I have found that it can still be at fault. make sure all are clean and tite and clean and tite

I put heat shield tape on my first buell 03 firebolt, frame and under airbox didn't notice much difference but I was trying to shield the petrol and incoming air not me and I don't ride in town much....
