I can see you're angry at my observations as a dealer, that's OK, I'm not talking about you or anyone you keeps and maintains their bikes. Just stating what I have run across in my business dealings...
You can bet all you want, but I've seen what high mileage sport bikes have in their engine cases. touring and cruiser riders are not as hard on their bikes as sport bike riders. Ask the techs who...
I've bought and sold 107 bikes in the last year and a half and checking out a bike means dick. You can ask whatever you think you want and go by KBB and what not but having owned, bought and sold...
Really? Just for driving to and from work, maybe 5 to 20 miles? Maybe it was the 1125 I had but my XB seemed way more easy going for everyday work stuff.
My friend in AZ got the same year last nov with only 2900 miles for $4700
Agreed, I think an XB is a much better daily driver.
I called the one I was selling "the right boot bbq!" It would be so hot after only a mile of riding I thought I was on fire. Other than that it's one hell of a fast ride.
This is a forum right? By definition an open place for discussion. I'm not attacking the guy I'm just expressing my opinion. I'm allowed my opinion and it can be based on emotion, experience, taste...
Like I said, cruiser and as shown touring. If you're in the business and a three year old sport bike has 13xxx miles it's a red flag. I've bought and sold touring bikes with up to 40,000 miles with...
Maybe on a cruiser, on a sport bike that's a giant red flag, trade in I would give about $2500 tops.
And I like Kawasaki Green... On a Kawasaki!
Sellers never look at the KKB or NADA footnotes at the bottom of the page. If they did they would see that average mileage for a motorcycle is 2000 a year and if you are more than twice that much the...
Wrong, I'm a dealer and Blue Book doesn't mean ****, market does. No ones getting that kind of money for them. You'll keep it or drop the price. Mark my words, your miles and price are way too high.
Prices keep on dropping: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motorcycles-/221130735200?forcev4exp=true#ht_2191wt_1165
You're a better man than me, I would have carved a nice little zig zag pattern in his paint job.
Drop your price by $3000 and you might get a bite. I sold an 08 with only 1700 miles for $4250 after sitting on it for four months. There is no way in hell you'll get that kind of money with 13,000...
Probably the best racing I've seen in years.
Never had it happen on my Bolt on high speed runs, 130+ but it did happen once on a high speed sweeper with a cement barrier about two feet to my left. That was scary! I made some major suspension...
If this looks high it also includes tax and freight and dealer set up. Base was $7,736.12 with 1 mile on the OD
So true! :D
$5,500 if you want it gone, $4,500 if you need it gone now.
I'm looking at a new 2012, I like what they've done with it. TC and ABS, electronic damper, plus lots of power.
Bought my XB9R brand new May 17th 2003 for $8822.25.
First pipe took only 3 weeks? That's pretty good for Odie! I had nothing but problems and cancelled my order about 4 years ago. Would never use him for anything again.
I never got more than 120 on a full tank on my 03. About 90 to 105 when light came on. I once got 40 with the light on but one time it sputtered after only 20 miles.
